People who fall in love with Nene Park are regular visitors to the site whether that be everyday for a walk around the lakes or every month for a catch up with friends. We know that people view Nene Park and Lakeside as a place of comfort and often have extremely fond memories which is why they choose Lakeside to host a wake for the special person they have just lost. Losing a loved one we know is an incredibly sad time and we also know that there is also a lot of stress with trying to sort out a way to celebrate their life and say a proper goodbye with everyone else that loved them too. The team at Lakeside is here to help you plan your wake/ celebration of life and offer you reduced venue hire with an hourly charge as well as a specialised menu to pick catering from. Our venue features a spacious main hall, private conference room, conservatory and exterior balcony, all of which are available for exclusive hire. In total, we can accommodate up to 150 standing guests or 120 seated guests.

We are extremely proud of the exceptional service we provide, and tailor each event to the needs of our guests. We will do all we can to assist you both in the build-up to your event, while on the day itself our friendly staff will be on hand to make you and your guests feel at home.
Should you need catering at your event, we offer a range of delicious dishes – including children’s options – all freshly made in our amazing kitchen. If you have any dietary requirements or culinary requests, please let us know beforehand and we will endeavor to deliver.
